    After the hype of BlockChain development as THE solution for improved tracking in the supply chain some of the business cases have actually made it to real products or services. BlockChain seems to really solve issues in supply chain and technology is no longer stopping it.

    The business cases we’ll have presentation of will be:

    1. Within DHL Global Forwarding the initiative to improve customer supply chains let to develop a blockchain solution. Han Verheijen will share his experience, learnings and views.
    2. The Port of Rotterdam is one of the most innovative ports in the World. Steven Jan van Hengel will share his experiences, learnings and views on their projects
    3. Within the Port of Rotterdam blockchain development let to the setup of BlockLab, a field lab in which blockchain solutions gain ground to make it to maturity. This in its turn has led to a first product, DELIVER, in which multiple blockchain can be connected, aside legacy systems where most companies still work with. Deliver will tell you the story how and why Samsung SDS, ABN-Amro and Port of Rotterdam came up with a worldwide operating system over multiple blockchains.
    4. Another supply chain segment where real-time visibility is of crucial importance, is the transportation of high value cargo. Ahlers will explain how they are developing an innovative combination of advanced IoT tracking and tracing devices and biometrical technology to provide high security transport in the Russian market, “replacing Kalashnikovs with smart bracelets”.

    After the speeches we will have an open panel discussions where you can put your thoughts, ideas and questions to the table.
